Welcome to What Then? Writer's Hub ("the Site"), operated by Brittany Wieers. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who Can Use This Site
The Site is open to writers of all ages who enjoy creative storytelling. Users under 13 should have a parent or guardian review these Terms before participating. By using the Site, you confirm that you have the right to agree to these Terms, or that a parent or guardian has done so on your behalf.
2. Community Standards
What Then? Writer's Hub is a creative, welcoming space for storytellers of all skill levels. Every member of this community is expected to treat others with kindness and respect. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Plagiarism. Submitting writing that is copied, paraphrased without credit, or otherwise taken from another person's work without their permission is not allowed. Your story endings must be your own original creative writing.
- Bullying, harassment, or hateful content. Targeting, mocking, threatening, or demeaning other users — including in story endings, usernames, or any communications — is not tolerated. This includes content that discriminates based on race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.
- Impersonation. You may not create an account or submit content that impersonates Brittany Wieers, another user, a public figure, or any real or fictional person in a misleading or harmful way.
- Inappropriate or explicit content. Story endings must be suitable for a general audience that includes young writers. Sexual content, graphic violence, or material intended to shock or disturb are not permitted.
- Spam or self-promotion. Do not submit repetitive, irrelevant, or commercially motivated content. Story endings should be genuine creative responses to the prompts.
- Personal information. Do not include your own or anyone else's real name, address, phone number, school, or other identifying details in a story ending or public submission.
We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates these standards, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
If you see content that violates these standards, please report it using the flag/report feature on the Site or contact us directly at whatthenbook@outlook.com. We take all reports seriously.
3. User-Submitted Content
When you submit a story ending or other content to the Site, you grant Brittany Wieers a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, share, and feature that content on the Site and in promotional materials related to the Site. You retain full ownership of your original writing.
You are solely responsible for the content you submit. By submitting, you confirm that your ending is your own original work and does not infringe any copyright, trademark, or other rights belonging to a third party.
4. Accounts
To submit story endings or access locked prompts, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms, are inactive for an extended period, or are used in a way that we determine to be harmful to the community.
5. Prompt Access & Purchases
Ten prompts are always freely accessible to all visitors. Full access to all 34 prompts is available by either:
